Share Your Experience Without Sharing Your Identity
At Mirador Law, we understand that the legal matters we handle, whether personal injury or sensitive abuse cases, are deeply personal. Many clients want to share their positive experiences to help others find us, but hesitate because they don't want their full name attached to a public review.
We value your privacy as much as we value your feedback.
The good news is that Google now allows you to leave a review using a nickname or alias. You can help future clients find the representation they need without broadcasting your personal business to employers, friends, or the general public.
Yes. As of late 2025, Google introduced a feature that allows users to post reviews under a "Custom Display Name" rather than their legal name. Your review will appear under a name like "John Doe," or any other nickname you choose.
Reviews are the primary way people in crisis find attorneys they can trust. When you share your story, even anonymously, you help someone else facing a DUI charge, a serious injury, or a difficult family situation feel confident that they have found the right help.
If I change my display name, what happens to my old reviews?
Enabling a custom display name will update all your past reviews to show your new alias. This retroactively protects your privacy across the board.
Can Mirador Law see my real name?
No. We will see the same display name and picture that the public sees. Your identity remains private from us on the review platform, just as it does from the public.
Do anonymous reviews still "count"?
Absolutely. Google weighs these reviews exactly the same as others. They still contribute to our rating and help our firm stay visible to those who need us.

Note: If you do not see the "custom name" option yet, ensure your Google Maps app is updated to the latest version, as this feature is rolling out gradually.
