Ms. Burns has diverse experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases from wrongful death cases to minor traffic accidents. She has recovered millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements, including in industrial vehicle accidents, bullying and assault cases, tree accidents, and negligent funeral home cases. Regardless of the size of the case, Ms. Burns enjoys helping people through a difficult time in their lives. While Ms. Burns cannot guarantee a particular outcome, her successful record demonstrates her unyielding commitment to fiercely advocating for her clients.

She graduated with honors from Boston College in 1999 and earned her law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2004. Ms. Burns is regularly invited to teach trial skills to various professional organizations and is a guest instructor for Stanford Law School’s Trial Advocacy Workshop. She lives in Oakland and enjoys hiking in the California Redwoods, international travel, and science fiction.
