Emily Dahm wins “sex with the BART seat” case
Emily Dahm’s client was seen exposing and touching his genitals on a BART train. He was charged with felony indecent exposure and faced a prison sentence. However, through her skillful cross-examination of the train operator and her persuasive arguments to the jury, Emily was able to convince the jury that her client was not guilty because he was not trying to attract public attention to his actions.
Her client was instead convicted of lewd acts, a misdemeanor, and was released from custody the same day.
